10 lb Fluke Boat Anchor Kit for 16–26 ft Boats — Complete Set
Product description
Sized for 16–26 ft vessels: This kit is designed for pontoons, bass boats, dinghies and similar craft in the 16 to 26 foot range. The 10 lb fluke anchor offers a balance of holding power and manageable weight for smaller boats.
Complete kit components: The set ships with a 10 lb galvanized fluke anchor, a 6.5 ft length of steel chain, two D-ring shackles for secure connections, and 100 ft of nylon rope — everything needed to rig and deploy the anchor without buying extras.
Holding performance: The fluke-style anchor is built to penetrate and hold in soft bottoms such as sand and mud. The short, heavy chain between the anchor and rode helps the fluke dig in and reduces shock loads from waves and wind.
Material and corrosion resistance: Components are made from hot-dip galvanized steel to resist rust and wear in both freshwater and saltwater environments. The galvanizing provides long-term protection against corrosion when properly rinsed and cared for.
Rope characteristics and handling: The included 100 ft nylon rope offers good tensile strength and low stretch compared with cheaper lines, while remaining easy on the hands. It’s flexible for coiling and storing and robust enough for normal anchoring situations.
Pros
- Complete kit with chain, shackles and 100 ft rope
- Hot-dip galvanized steel for corrosion resistance
- Designed to set well in sand and mud
Cons
- Best suited for soft bottoms rather than rock
- Recommended for 16–26 ft boats only
- Chain length is relatively short at 6.5 ft
VerdictThis all-inclusive anchor kit is a practical choice for small to mid-size boats. The fluke design digs into sandy and muddy bottoms while the short steel chain helps the anchor set and stay put. Hot-dip galvanizing offers good corrosion resistance for fresh and salt use. Ideal for lakes and coastal trips on 16–26 ft vessels, it provides a dependable, no-fuss anchoring setup.

Surprisingly effective
Works very well if you know how to set this style of anchor. There’s a bit of technique to get it to bite, but once you do it holds reliably. Solid choice and good value.

Everything included — dependable hold
Very pleased with the kit — anchor, chain, rope and shackles all arrived together so no extra shopping was needed. The galvanized finish seems durable and the anchor sets easily on sand and mud. The 100 ft rope is ample for typical lake use and having the chain already attached is handy. Overall a convenient, well-made setup I’d recommend.

Sturdy and easy to fit
Performs great on my 26' tritoon. I added a shrink sleeve over the chain to protect the hull when hauling it in. Robust construction, straightforward to assemble, and I’d recommend it.

Perfect for my 17 ft fishing boat
Bought the 10 lb model for a 17' boat and it holds the boat solidly. Very well made and simple to use. Glad I chose this one — it met my needs without fuss.
