Purple Low-Temp Spring Steel Build Plate for Creality K2 — 270×293mm
Product description
This replacement build plate is a flexible spring steel sheet with two usable faces and a purple finish. One side features a nano-coated, smooth cool surface engineered for stronger adhesion at reduced bed temperatures; the other side is a textured PEI surface designed for higher-temperature filaments.
Recommended bed temperature ranges printed on the plate: PLA 30–50°C, PETG 50–70°C, ABS 80–100°C. Actual best settings depend on your filament brand, slicer profiles, and print environment. The plate is intended for straightforward, lower-temperature prints on the smooth side and for more heat-tolerant materials on the textured side.
Made to resist everyday wear, the spring steel core bends to help release finished models—simply peel the sheet up and flex it to free parts with minimal scraping. Routine upkeep is simple: rinse or wipe the surface with water and keep it free of dust, oils, and filament residue for consistent adhesion.
Compatibility: Creality K2 and K2 Combo. Build plate dimensions: 270 × 293 mm. Package contents: 1× purple low-temperature build plate for K2. Please check your printer model and required plate size before purchasing.
Pros
- Strong low-temp adhesion for PLA and PETG
- Double-sided use extends versatility
- Flexible steel makes part removal easy
Cons
- Verify K2/K2 Combo fit before buying
- May need occasional surface cleaning
- High-temp prints require flip to PEI side
VerdictA robust upgrade for K2 users who want reliable first-layer adhesion without always running a hot bed. The nano-treated cool face grips PLA and PETG at lower bed temps to cut warping and layer shifting, while the textured PEI reverse handles hotter materials. Its spring-steel construction makes prints easy to pop off and extends service life through repeated flexing and simple water cleaning. Conf

Gold finish improves filament visibility
Performs as well or better than the stock plate. The gold look makes it easier to watch PETG lay down, and unlike some other sheets I've tried it grips PETG reliably yet releases prints cleanly when flexed.
