Universal Sustain Pedal with Polarity Switch for Digital Keyboards
Product description
Compatibility and connection: The pedal uses a standard 1/4" (6.35mm) mono plug and includes an attached cable, making it compatible with most digital pianos, stage keyboards and MIDI controllers that accept a sustain input.
Build and materials: The top plate is metal to simulate the weight and feel of an acoustic piano pedal, housed in a durable ABS plastic chassis. The base is fitted with four small rubber pads to help keep it from sliding on hard floors. The unit is designed with a compact footprint so it fits easily in gig bags and cases.
Dimensions and feel: Overall the housing is smaller than many higher-end models while the pedal surface provides a full-size playing area. The pedal operates smoothly and offers quick mechanical response so sustained notes decay naturally when released.
How it works: A small slide switch on the side toggles between normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) polarity settings to match the keyboard's wiring. To use, plug the pedal into the sustain input, power on your keyboard, and test a note while flipping the switch until the pedal behaves as expected. Placement under the instrument or on the floor is straightforward thanks to the slim profile.
Performance notes: The unit is made to be portable and light, so while it stays put fairly well on many surfaces, you may prefer to secure it if you perform aggressive footwork. Response time and sustain behavior are suitable for practice, rehearsal, and most live situations.

VerdictThis pedal offers reliable sustain for a wide range of electronic keyboards thanks to its 1/4" jack and selectable polarity (NO/NC). The metal pedal surface and plastic body keep it lightweight and portable while the rubber feet attempt to reduce movement. It responds quickly underfoot and is easy to set up: plug it in, select the polarity, and you're ready to play. Ideal for gigging musicians or

Solid and compatible
A dependable sustain pedal—the polarity switch lets it work with different keyboards. No-frills and gets the job done.

Works as a drum kit replacement
Needed an adapter for an older drum controller plug, but once connected it handles heavy footwork well. It doesn’t mount the same way as the original drum pedal, so I keep it beside the kit. Also performs fine on my keyboard.

Simple and reliable
Plug it in and it works across the keyboards I own. No setup fuss—just play.

Performs well but can move
Delivers proper sustain, but the lightweight base tends to slide. Secure it if you plan to play energetically; otherwise it works fine for practice.

Polarity switch saved the day
Arrived without instructions, so I initially had reversed behavior. Found the side switch set to NO; flipping to NC fixed it. Cord is thinner than others but long enough. Would be nice if basic instructions were included.

Great value pedal with a realistic feel
Feels like a real piano pedal and reacts instantly. Smaller and lighter than my higher-end unit, which makes it ideal for gig bags, though the light weight means it can creep back during energetic playing. Four small rubber feet help a bit; I wedge it in place on my stand to stop slipping.

Detects polarity and feels responsive
Plug-and-play on multiple keyboards. Offered touch sensitivity and a standard 1/4" plug; it even adjusted to my keyboard’s opposite wiring after a power cycle. Good materials for the cost.

Looks and performs like a piano pedal
A necessary accessory that resembles a real piano pedal. Has held up so far and seems well made—would recommend for most users.
