Sugar Beet Crushed 4 lb Deer Mineral Brick — Time‑Release Attractant
Product description
Overview
Sugar beets are a proven natural attractant for deer, but they’re seasonal and not always available. This product recreates that appeal by combining crushed sugar beet with essential minerals into a solid, time‑release brick designed for hunters and wildlife enthusiasts.
What you get and materials
Each package contains one 4-pound crushed sugar beet mineral brick. The composition blends powdered sugar beet with a mineral/salt matrix to form a firm lick block. The brick is mess‑free, compact, and portable so you can set up a mineral site without loose feed or containers.
How it works and where to use it
The brick slowly emits sweet beet scents and mineral salts, producing a long‑range aroma that can entice deer from surrounding cover. Remove the outer packaging and set the brick on the ground, on a decaying stump or log, or at the base of a scrape to establish a mineral site. Place it within camera range to increase the chance of captures; the block’s scent profile and mineral content encourage repeated visits over multiple weeks.
Performance and longevity
Designed as a time‑release mineral supplement, the brick maintains its aroma and nutrient availability over an extended period. In favorable conditions and with local deer interest, the scent and licking surface remain effective for several weeks. Weather and herd pressure will affect how quickly it’s consumed or degraded.

Local deer ignored it
I placed this for the deer near my property but they hardly touched it. For my area it didn’t perform and felt like a poor value.

Not worth the effort here
Mine arrived a bit crumbly. I staked pieces where several deer pass daily but they mostly ignored it. Corn I put out gets visited constantly; this block did not. Wouldn’t recommend based on my experience.

Reliable annual buy
I get these every season. They draw deer in reliably, like a magnet for animals that like sweet licks.

Nothing ate it
Spent money on this and the deer wouldn’t touch it. Total waste for my spot.

Camera failed but deer used it heavily
My trail camera glitched, but the deer clearly loved this. They nosed and licked the block until most of it was gone. I even put a leaf on top like a trick and it disappeared within two weeks.

Wildlife digs it
Elk and deer have worked this thing over nonstop. The animals seem to enjoy the taste and it’s decent quality. One brick arrived cracked, the other intact, but both drew steady attention.

Will buy a larger size next time
The deer ate through it fast. I’ll get a bigger brick next season — they clearly like the flavor, I just ran out too soon.
