Keep curious children away from hazards with a barrier designed to fit common home openings. This indoor child gate blocks stairways, doorways, hallways, and other off-limits zones so little ones can roam safely nearby. It’s intended for use with babies and toddlers aged roughly 6–24 months.

The gate is adjustable to fit openings from 26 to 42 inches wide and the panel height is 26 inches. You can set it up quickly as a pressure-mounted gate — no tools required — by expanding the frame into the opening and engaging the lock. For stairway installation, convert it to a permanently mounted swing gate using the included hardware; hardware mounting is required when used at the top of stairs.     Better than the old wooden style

    More durable and simpler to use than our previous wooden gate. Keeps my older dog upstairs and is easy to adjust to different openings. Very stable when the hooks are secured.

    Not durable for very rough use

    The wall connector pieces felt a bit soft and couldn’t withstand very rough handling. It didn’t hold up to our particularly forceful children and failed after a few days.

    The gate works well, but the hardware was packed between panels and was hard to remove. It was awkward to extract; packaging could be improved.

    Can be installed to swing open

    Works great as a swinging gate and for pressure mounting. Keeps my grandson contained and is tall enough that he can’t easily climb over. I modified a panel for pets, but otherwise it arrived with everything intact and extra screws.

    Arrived damaged

    One part was loose and the gate wouldn’t lock properly, likely damaged in transit. The product itself seems fine and I would prefer a replacement, but returning it is a hassle.
