Telescoping Magnetic Curtain Rods, 16–28 in, 1/2 in Dia — 2-Pack (White)
Product description
This set includes two telescoping magnetic curtain rods, each crafted from metal with a 1/2-inch diameter. They extend from 16 inches up to 28 inches to fit a variety of narrow openings and window inserts.
The ends contain strong magnetic housings that cling to any ferrous surface so installation is tool-free and leaves no screw holes. Typical mounting spots include iron doors, appliance panels, toolboxes, file cabinets, window casements and refrigerator or dishwasher fronts.
Available finishes include black, white, nickel, pewter and brown, letting you match or contrast your decor. The rods are intended for lightweight to medium fabrics and work well for sheer panels, decorative banners and temporary coverings.
To reposition, lift the magnetic ends off the metal surface rather than sliding them to minimize the risk of scratching. The manufacturer offers customer support for product questions and stands behind the item for a good user experience.
Ideal rooms for use include living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms where a temporary or non-invasive hanging solution is preferred.
Pros
- No-tools installation — strong magnetic mounting
- Telescoping length fits many openings
- Multiple finish options to match decor
Cons
- Magnets can scratch painted surfaces when moved
- Rod may flex at maximum extension
- Must remove rather than slide to reposition
VerdictThese adjustable magnetic rods are a simple, no-drill option for hanging lightweight curtains and fabric panels on steel surfaces. The magnets provide a secure hold on appliances, metal doors and cabinets, and the telescoping design covers a range of openings. Expect easy setup and flexible placement; be cautious when repositioning to avoid surface damage and note the rod can flex when extended fu

Caution — can mark surfaces
They work as advertised but repositioning scratched my dishwasher finish. Adding felt pads to the magnet faces would help prevent damage.

Great fit for metal doors
Worked perfectly on my sunroom double doors. No drilling required. I used rods at the top and bottom hem to keep curtains steady and they’ve stayed put through regular use.

Powerful magnets, thin pole
The magnetic ends grip tightly and seem permanent, but the rod feels a bit flimsy when extended past halfway. Good for a small door window though.

Handy and reliable
Convenient little solution. Magnets are strong and I’d buy them again.

Holds well, no damage observed
Firm hold on our front door window and supports a semi-sheer panel. Replaced an older unit that used to fall off — this one seems built to last.

Secure hold — don’t slide them
Magnets are very strong and allowed me to space curtains exactly as needed. One caution: don’t slide the magnet across painted metal or it may scratch; lift and reattach instead.
