Galvanized Metal Queen Excluder — 10‑Frame Hive (2‑Pack)
Product description
Complete pair, ready to use: This set contains two queen excluders, each measuring approximately 20.11 x 16.22 inches (51.09 x 41.19 cm), intended for standard 10‑frame Langstroth-style hives.
Protective finish and precise spacing: The bars are spaced to let worker bees travel between brood and honey areas while preventing the larger queen from entering the upper honey supers. The edges are wrapped and smoothed to reduce sharpness for safer handling.
Galvanized metal for durability: Constructed from galvanized steel to resist rust and provide a stiff, stable barrier. The rigid frame cleans easily and stands up to scraping propolis or seasonal wear, making it suitable for multiple seasons of use.
Keeps honey clean: By separating brood boxes from honey supers, these excluders help maintain purer honey comb free of brood, reducing the chance of brood in honey frames and improving overall comb quality.
Makes hive work easier: Useful when organizing the hive, performing inspections, or collecting honey. Lightweight to place and remove, the excluders help streamline routine hive management and improve efficiency throughout the beekeeping season.

Arrived quickly and have been doing their job in our hives with no issues.

Works with standard Langstroth, may need trimming for some brands
Well made and among the best I’ve used for wooden 10-frame Langstroth boxes. They were slightly too long for my Apimaye-format boxes—about a quarter inch—so I’ll trim that off. If your boxes are nonstandard, check dimensions first.

Quality build — glad I upgraded from plastic
New to beekeeping and tired of flimsy plastic excluders, I picked these up as spares. They’re thick, heavy, and have rounded edges. Easier to clean by heating off wax, then rinsing. They fit my 10-frame boxes perfectly.

Well constructed and durable
Proper 10-frame dimensions, all-metal construction with crimped/welded corners. Stiff, flat, and no sharp points for bees or hands. Should tolerate prying and cleaning, making them a long-lasting choice.

Handy supply for the season
Bought the 4-pack to stock up for the year. They fit frames well with no gaps, the bar spacing appears correct for workers, and the metal looks like it will resist corrosion for a long time.

Keeps honey supers free of brood
These keep the queen in the lower brood box so the upper frames stay mostly honey. Heavy-duty galvanized steel—set them and forget them. They perform exactly as expected and help maintain cleaner comb above.

Fits perfectly and feels robust
These drop into a 10-frame hive without forcing or trimming. The metal is solid, not flimsy, and the edges are smooth so you don’t snag gloves. They do what you want: keep the queen down while workers move freely.
