Collapsible Comic Short Box Storage Bin — Holds ~150 Comics (15.5×7.5×11.3)
Product description
What's included: One collapsible comic short box with lids and a removable bottom/base plate. The box arrives flat and opens into its full shape; the base plate slides in to support contents.
Materials and size: Built with reinforced PVC panels for rigidity and an outer fabric cover, the unit measures approximately 15.5" × 7.5" × 11.3" and is sized to hold roughly 150 bagged and boarded comic books or similarly sized paper collectibles.
How it assembles and folds: Setup is simple — unfold the box and insert the supplied base plate. When you no longer need it, remove the bottom plate and collapse the walls; the folded box reduces to about 2 inches thick for compact storage.
Usage and versatility: Designed for comics, graphic novels, playbills, files or general household storage, the box stacks well for short-term piling and can be repurposed as a file bin or travel kit for a car. It includes lids to help keep dust out and a pocket for labeling.
Sealing and care: The design emphasizes snug closure to protect your collection from dust and light exposure. While not a vacuum- or moisture-proof safe, the box offers better protection than loose cardboard. For any concerns after purchase, the manufacturer offers customer support and asks you to get in touch for resolution within 24 hours.
Pros
- Rigid PVC panels provide good structural support
- Collapses flat to save space when not in use
- Fits about 150 bagged/boarded comics
Cons
- Not fully airtight or moisture-proof
- No built-in dividers or tab holders
- Handles are stitched rather than reinforced
VerdictA practical replacement for flimsy cardboard: this collapsible short box offers strong PVC panels, a lid and base plate, and a compact, fold-flat design. It won’t be fully airtight, and stitched handles and the lack of internal dividers may limit some uses, but for durability, appearance, and space-saving storage of up to 150 bagged comics or similar items, it’s a solid choice.

Great upgrade from cardboard storage
I replaced random cardboard and cheap bins with these and they’ve exceeded expectations. They comfortably hold roughly 140+ comics each. I’m cautious about more than two stacked, and the handles are only stitched on, but the overall look beats my old setup. They close well even if not fully sealed. I plan to buy more.

Perfect for playbills and programs
Holds more than my old plastic bins—currently fitting about 202 playbills though that’s slightly tight because the sides taper. Velcro closure is strong and the label pocket is handy. Very simple to open and use. I wish it had built-in dividers for easier organization.

Better fit than I expected
Threw comics in quickly without removing protective sleeves and ended up with nearly 150 books in one box with no bulging. I wouldn’t stack a second full bin on top, but a soft bag of linens on top is fine. Replacing cardboard was a relief—I'll mark the exterior and keep this long-term.

Exactly what I needed
Well made and fits my collection in both width and height. I'll be adding more boxes to my setup.

Works well for graphic novels, with one issue
Excellent for holding comics, graphic novels, or doujinshi. Leave room for charcoal or silica packs to help humidity. One unit I bought had a strong burned-paper smell, so better factory QC would help.

Far superior to basic cardboard short boxes
Other buyers were right that the box itself resists water and mold better than plain cardboard, but it isn't a sealed container, so comics in sleeves still need care. A tag slot would be a nice add-on for organizing. Despite that, these look much nicer than cheap boxes and are far sturdier than many flimsy magazine holders—good for neatly stacking your collection.
