What you get
A single Stanley PowerLock tape measure measuring 16 feet (5 meters) with a 3/4" wide blade. The package contains the tape rule itself — ready for immediate jobsite use.

Construction and materials
The blade is covered in a Mylar polyester film to protect graduations from wear and extend readable life. The case is chrome-finished, high-impact ABS designed to survive drops and rough handling. Internal components include a heat-treated recoil spring for improved longevity.

Measurements and markings
Blade graduations include both English and metric scales, and the edge is stamped with 16" and 19.2" stud-center marks to simplify framing layout. The corrosion-resistant Tru-Zero end hook provides accurate inside and outside readings by accounting for the hook's intentional play.

Performance and use
A positive blade lock prevents creep while measuring; the blade remains stiff enough for straight runs and is rated to hold rigidity to several feet for one-handed work.
