Perfect for long international flights
Used this on flights to the UK with AirPods and Beats. I paired before leaving home; Beats needed a second try but then it worked. Plugged into the seat jack and it performed flawlessly—apart from a brief static that fixed after replugging. The battery covered a 10-hour flight and recharged fast. Would recommend for travel.

Tap the plus button a few times when pairing
Had some trouble pairing with Bose earbuds at first, but pressing the plus button repeatedly during initial sync solved it. Bluetooth lock-in is strong and the battery holds well. Worked perfectly on the flights I took.

Essential for in-flight entertainment
I use this to connect my Bluetooth headphones to seatback systems. Sound quality is solid and the connection is reliable—far better than airline-provided wired headphones. For pairing: power on, hold the main button ~4 seconds until amber/white flash, then put your headphones in pairing mode. Pair before takeoff for less hassle. Small and I bring it on every trip.

Great fix when plane systems lack Bluetooth
Used several times and it does the job. There’s a slight delay but nothing distracting for movies. Plug into the 3.5mm jack and it sends audio to your earbuds once paired. Not audiophile-grade, but fine on a noisy plane. It auto-connects to paired buds and is very compact for packing.

Handy little travel audio adapter
I bought the AirFly SE to use my AirPods with airplane screens and it’s been great. It works with any 3.5mm jack so I also use it at the gym and on an older TV. No app required—turn it on, pair, and audio streams almost instantly. Connection stayed stable for the whole flight with clear sound and negligible delay. Battery easily lasts 20+ hours and it charges via USB-C while in use. The side volume buttons are a convenient extra.

Makes flying cleaner and safer
I’ve had ear infections this year, so using my own wireless headphones was a must. This let me avoid airline headsets and feel comfortable—definitely worth it if you fly often.

Solved my PC Bluetooth problem, with occasional hiccups
My laptop’s Bluetooth stopped working, so I used this to stream music while working. It paired easily, fits in its small pouch, and delivers clean sound with no static. It works with non-Apple headphones too. One drawback: every so often audio cuts out and the unit needs a restart to reconnect.

Disappointed — unreliable on my trip
Bought this for multiple long flights but it wouldn’t produce sound on the airplane. I charged it fully beforehand and again mid-flight, saw it paired but still got no audio, so I used the airline headphones. I tried resetting it later but had poor results during travel.

Very handy with occasional glitches
Used it on two long flights; sometimes a quick restart was needed when sound didn’t come through, but overall very convenient and doesn’t degrade audio quality much.
