Product description
Two sizes to suit different tasks: the smaller seam ripper measures about 3.5 inches and comes with a clear protective cap that can double as an extension handle for reaching tight spots and undoing fine stitching. The larger ripper is roughly 5.5 inches long and features a long, flat handle for improved leverage and comfort when removing longer seams.
Each ripper has a longer fork for picking out sewn threads and a sharp blade for cutting threads and trimming fabric. The smaller fork on the large ripper includes a red rounded mini ball to help protect delicate material while you work; the larger tool also makes it easier to open buttonholes neatly.
Included trimming snips are made from quality metal and are useful for cutting thread, trimming fabric edges, and working with a variety of materials. To guard against corrosion the nipper is given a light oil coating at the factory; wipe this oil off before first use.
Package contents: four plastic-handled seam rippers (two small, two large), one metal sewing trimming scissor nipper, and one storage bag. Safety note: keep these tools away from children.

Perfect for removing cat matts and sewing mistakes
I used the large ripper to loosen matts in my cat's fur and the scissor-like snips to finish because they gave me much better control. I could feel the skin to avoid nicks and then used a tiny quiet clipper to remove tangles. Also handy for embroidery and cross stitch. Very happy with this set.
