Skip the plastic drip catcher
Standard mini gun kit with the pistol, 30 sticks, a wire stand and a plastic drip stand. I appreciate the on/off switch. The drip tray is shallow and fills quickly; the little tabs that secure it are flimsy and tricky to attach. The wire stand is reliable—use that from the start.

Warms quickly and holds posters well
Cute purple unit with orange accents and a compact footprint (around 4–4.5 inches). It uses a standard plug and the included glue sticks let you start immediately. Heats up fast and stuck posters to my classroom wall without failing. The only drawback was the small plastic stand — it swivels but stays loose and won’t hold the gun securely when propped.

Smooth glue flow but manual has errors
Includes the purple mini gun, 30 sticks, a foldable plastic stand with drip tray, a metal wire stand, and a manual. Glue dispenses smoothly after warming up. The metal stand is handy and the gun fits well in hand. The manual contradicts specs by listing different wattage and claiming cordless operation. Also the orange plastic drip stand arrived broken and wouldn’t snap into place.
