Playmobil Take-Along Portable Dollhouse Play Set
Product description
This take-along dollhouse arrives as a hinged carrying case with a secure latch and built-in handle. Opened up, it becomes a two-story home divided into four distinct rooms: a kitchen stocked with pots, pans, food items and dishes; a living room with seating and a television area; a bedroom featuring two beds and a cradle; and a bathroom with a bathtub, sink and mirror. The set is molded from durable, easy-to-clean plastic and finished with smooth, rounded edges sized for young hands.
The kit includes two adult figures, one child figure, a dog, a television and stand, a highchair and a variety of additional accessories to stage everyday scenes. Furniture pieces assemble into place and many small items tuck away inside the closed case so everything stays together for storage or travel. The overall footprint and piece scale are designed to fit comfortably in children’s laps and backpacks when closed up.
Intended for ages four and up, the dollhouse supports role play, language-building and fine motor practice. Because the set contains many tiny parts, it carries a choking-hazard warning and is not suitable for children under three. Caregivers may wish to keep extra small-item storage (a mesh bag or container) on hand to manage pieces during multi-child play or outings.
Pros
- Portable, latch-up case that stores all pieces
- Sturdy, easy-to-clean plastic with child-friendly edges
- Detailed accessories that encourage creative storytelling
Cons
- Many very small parts that can be lost
- Tiny foods and tools may be too small for younger users
- Older children may outgrow the toy quickly
VerdictThis compact Playmobil set combines rugged construction with a clever, travel-friendly case that becomes a full two-story play space. The four furnished rooms and included figures encourage open-ended storytelling at home or on the go. Accessories are detailed and enhance realism, but caregivers should watch for tiny pieces that can be misplaced or present a choking hazard. Ideal for preschoolers

Great for Imaginative Playtime with Toddlers
Bought for my 2-year-old granddaughter and she plays with it daily. Short bursts of imaginative play are common—about ten minutes each time—and she loves arranging extra figures and furniture I added.

Handy for Games, Practices and Travel
I take this to basketball games and practices to keep my youngest entertained. It packs up quickly, is sturdy, and we’ve mixed in other Playmobil pieces for new stories. Small parts are a concern, so I also use a mesh bag to keep track of pieces.

Solid Construction but Watch the Tiny Pieces
The set is well made and a step up from simpler toddler lines, but many of the foods and tools are extremely small. They tend to slip off surfaces and could be misplaced easily.

Cute and Compact — Best for Younger Children
Adorable and practical for toddlers aged 3–5. My 8-year-old quickly lost interest and donated it, so it’s better suited to younger players.

Five Stars — A Compact Classic for Creative Play
I gifted this to my 4-year-old niece and she hasn’t put it down. The build feels solid and the case stores everything neatly; the handle makes it perfect for car trips and visits. The little scenes she invents are endless, and the set still looks new after heavy use.
