Practical anchor setting tool
The included metal setting tool uses a semi-automatic action to set molly anchors quickly and with less hand strain. It has a textured, non-slip rubber grip for comfortable use and is compatible with the range of molly bolts supplied in this kit. The tool helps flare and seat the anchors so they hold firmly in hollow cavities.

Where it’s used
This kit is intended for fixing items into hollow walls, plasterboard, and wood panels. Typical uses include mounting curtain rods, picture frames, shelving, cabinets and TV brackets where there are no studs. Once expanded, the molly creates a stable anchor point that resists pull-out under load.

Bolt construction and features
All fasteners are made from zinc-plated carbon steel for increased hardness and corrosion resistance. Threads are clearly formed to bite into the substrate, and the bolt ends include a snap-style feature that helps prevent pushing the screw too far into the hole. Many bolts also have a knurled or textured shank to boost friction and stability after setting.

How to install
1) Drill a hole matching the anchor diameter at the chosen mounting spot using an electric drill.
2) Back the screw out slightly and push the anchor through the hole until flush.
3) Engage the anchor head in the setting tool.
4) Tighten per the tool’s action to expand the sleeve against the inside of the wall; once set the fixture can be mounted.
