Preferable to a flat strip, the T profile adapts to different gap sizes. You can trim lengthwise and heightwise for a neat fit instead of leaving excess. The adhesive is adequate — not the absolute strongest I’ve used, but good enough when you clean and measure first.

Simple, effective gap sealing
This T‑style strip seals both faces of the door bottom and the clear/white silicone blends in once installed. I measured, cut to length, cleaned the door, then applied the adhesive — proper surface prep is important. The strip flexes against the floor while blocking air, dust and some light. Works great for screens and pests
I used a piece under my screen door to block the gap that let scorpions in. It’s been a week and so far no critters passed. The ability to cut it to size and have leftover for another door is handy. Very satisfied with the outcome.
