3-Piece Stainless Steel Ice Cream & Cookie Scoop Set
Product description
Included set: three trigger-release scoops in three sizes—small (#50), medium (#24) and large (#16)—for consistent portions across recipes.
Sizes and capacities: Small scoop (#50) has a bowl diameter of 1.6 inch / 4 cm and holds about 1.5 tbsp (23 ml / 0.7 oz). Medium scoop (#24) measures 2 inch / 5 cm across the bowl and holds roughly 2.5 tbsp (42 ml / 1.4 oz). Large scoop (#16) has a 2.4 inch / 6 cm bowl and a capacity near 4 tbsp (60 ml / 2 oz). These provide clear, repeatable servings for cookies, muffins, cupcakes, melon balls, sorbets and meatballs.
Construction and cleaning: Each scoop is crafted from 18/8 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and longevity. The set is free of plastic components, fully recyclable, and safe for the dishwasher; hand washing is also simple and fast.
Trigger mechanism and grip: Each scoop features a spring-loaded trigger and an ergonomically shaped handle with a rubberized, non-slip surface to improve comfort and reduce wrist strain when scooping repeatedly.
How to use: Squeeze the trigger to sweep the internal scraper across the bowl and release a tidy ball into trays, cones or pans. For very firm ice cream, warm the bowl briefly in hot water before scooping to ease release. Avoid using the scoops on extremely hard, sub-zero ice cream or rock-hard dough.
Where it helps: Ideal for home bakers and foodservice alike—use in kitchens, dessert counters, cafeterias and at events. Makes evenly sized cookies, neatly filled cupcake liners, uniform meatballs and attractive fruit or sorbet servings.
Gift idea: Neat presentation and practical utility make this set a fitting gift for bridal showers, housewarmings, birthdays, Mother’s Day and other celebrations.
Pros
- Three precise sizes for consistent portions
- Sturdy 18/8 stainless steel construction
- Trigger release with non-slip, ergonomic handles
Cons
- Not ideal for extremely hard frozen items
- Some users report handle or rivet wear under heavy use
- Heavier, all-metal design may feel firm in hand
VerdictA versatile three-piece scooping set that handles a wide range of kitchen tasks: portioning cookie dough, dishing cupcake batter, carving melon, and forming meatballs. The 18/8 stainless construction and trigger release simplify serving and speed up prep. It performs best on soft to moderately firm foods—warm the bowl for very cold ice cream—and provides reliable, uniform portions at a good value.

Does the job
No need to spend extra. My first cookie scoop and it handled firm dough fine. Wiping the top edge after filling evens the portions.

Handle failed quickly
I was careful but after several uses the handle came apart—the rivet pulled through the soft metal. I was scooping soft dough. Wouldn’t recommend if you need heavy-duty use.

A baker’s essential
Bought this three-piece set for baking and it changed my workflow. Small for truffles, medium for standard cookies so they bake evenly, and large for muffin batter. Solid 18/8 steel and the ejector works smoothly.

Not great for ice cream
These feel lightweight and the release struggled with frozen ice cream; I had to tap to free each scoop. Better suited to softer foods like meatballs or melon.
