Legal Hanging File Folders — 2in Expansion, Black Plastic

Product description

Durable polypropylene build: Constructed from sturdy PP (polypropylene), these folders are heavier and more resilient than paper alternatives. The sides are fully enclosed to keep documents and small items secure, reducing the chance of slipping, loss, or worn edges.

2in accordion expansion: The flexible accordion-style side gussets expand to provide up to 2 inches of extra capacity for bulky files. The soft, premium plastic used in the sides improves flexibility and resists cracking so you can open and close them repeatedly without damage.

Easy labeling and quick access: Each folder accepts insertable 1/5-cut tabs and comes with colorful labels so you can sort, identify, and retrieve files quickly. The tabs are removable and customizable to build a filing scheme that fits your needs.

Made for legal documents: These folders are sized specifically for legal paperwork and are compatible with most standard hanging-file frames and drawers. They also accommodate manila subfolders or divider inserts for layered organization.

Ideal for large archives: Designed for bulk storage rather than small loose items. Each pack contains 12 legal hanging folders, 12 insertable tabs, and 1 colorful label sheet to get your filing system started.

Pros

  • Sturdy PP construction resists bending and tearing
  • 2in expandable sides hold bulky stacks
  • Comes with insertable tabs and colorful labels

Cons

  • Not suitable for small loose documents
  • Tabs can shift if packaging is damaged
  • Only sized for legal-format papers

VerdictA robust option for storing legal paperwork: thick PP construction with sealed sides prevents slips and edge wear, while the 2in expandable design accommodates bulky stacks. Comes with insertable tabs and labels so you can set up an organized system right away.

    Half the adjustable tabs missing

Nice folders that fit my IKEA 14" wide file drawer, but half the movable tabs were missing. The bag was torn and they likely fell out before packing. Can I get six replacement tabs? Please. Thank you, Kathy F

    Finally found sturdy legal-size folders

Legal-size folders were hard to find locally, so these were a relief. My papers used to sag in regular folders; these give a proper fit and structure. The heavy-duty plastic feels long-lasting, they hold a lot without flopping, and the included labels made setup easy. Worth the upgrade.

    Solid hanging folders

Good product, easy to use and fairly durable.
